Meet Wade While
On Lake Oahe every season since 1988 — and a two-time National Walleye Tour standout on this very water.
I came over the hill in 1988 and knew it was home
I grew up fishing — an ice shack on Audubon, summers on Sakakawea with my dad. I didn't really chase walleye until I moved to Mobridge in 1988. Driving in over Tower Hill and seeing that expansive river, I knew this was the place for me, and I've been on the water every year since.
I've spent my life taking care of people, and that's how I run my trips — full service, no rush, and built on folks who come back. Whether it's your first walleye or your hundredth, I'll make sure you're comfortable, safe in and out of the boat, and on fish.

Proven on this water
Wade has competed at the highest level of walleye fishing — and done it on the same reservoir he guides. In 2014 he won the pro side of the Cabela's National Walleye Tour stop right here on Lake Oahe, getting past a field of talented pros. Two years later he placed 4th at the National Walleye Tour Championship. It's the kind of know-how you can't fake, and you get the benefit of it the day you step in his boat.
A family operation
Wade runs the business with his wife Jenny — "the JenPro" — who loves to fish as much as he does and keeps the books. Between trips you'll find them at the Lazy A Ranch with the horses, cows, and chickens, and a couple of grandkids they can't wait to teach to fish.
