How it works

Booking is easy and low-pressure

No deposit

You show up and we go fishing. Wade books your dates on a phone call — no money down.

Weather policy

If it's too rough or stormy to be out there, we don't go — and you're not charged. You can't regulate the weather.

Book early for June

June is the most sought-after month. Folks usually book the fall before, and the sport-show season (Feb–March) fills fast. Not set on June? See the best time of year to fish walleye on Lake Oahe.

Licenses

What about a fishing license?

A South Dakota fishing license is the guest's responsibility and easy to get. The state offers one-day, three-day, and annual licenses through the South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks website or at Runnings in Mobridge. Tell Wade if you have questions — he'll point you the right way. For current prices and how to buy, see the South Dakota fishing license guide for Lake Oahe.
